Dead Drops is an ongoing art project from artist Aram Bartholl. He's installed USB drives in various NYC locations as a place where people can anonymously add and remove, discover and encode, and hope your little laptop doesn't catch an E-Venereal. Yes, it does kind of remind me as some tech-y version of a glory hole! How ever did you guess? Regardless of the images this project conjures it's quite cool and now and has a bit of danger attached to it. I can get behind something like that.
