Katsumi Hayakawa's work is part sculpture yet part collage. To me it looks like sweeping cityscapes being seen through the eyes of a low flying bird. The alleys like canyons and roofs like plateaus. The work is thrilling and having a few new walls of my own, I wouldn't mind one of these hanging.
