The Backwater Gospel by The Animation Workshop

What an amazing story about the power of fear being able to change even the best of men (and women!). It's takes a little time to get up and running but once you hit the 5 minute mark it start to reveal itself.

I'm loving the old timey feel of this animated short. It's like a combination of paper collage and watercolor painting meets computer animation with its own very original 'look'. The best part is I don't think it's paper at all! It just sort of looks like balled up paper to me for some reason. Anyway, don't fear the reaper? I dunno. It sounded appropriate.
