Chi-Town why so prudish?

This 26 foot sculpture of Marilyn Monroe depicting her famous subway grate scene from The Seven Year Itch has been erected in Chicago and apparently people are up in arms about it because all the guys have been erected too. (Sorry, couldn't resist making that joke.) No but seriously, people are in an uproar about the piece saying it's sexist and rude because you can see right up Marilyn's skirt. If they had said, tacky and kitschy I'd be completely on board but panties? Really? Are we still that puritanical?

 No one even batted an eyelash when this one went up in NYC. Get a grip Chicago, seriously.
