ANYWAY, I had no idea the lines of a Solo Cup were for measurement purposes but I'm glad I know it now. And you know it now too! Well... apparently we like dice even though we've never actually played one of those games that require these multi-sided dice things. I say this because we've featured other ones as well. Cit­roën's UFO for humans!

French mad man designer, Ora-Ïto, recently unveiled this master work. A full scale, albeit, concept version of this vehicle was exhibited in the Furniture Fair in Milan this year. Modeled after the Cit­roën DS with a dash of Jetson's era styling, this car or ship or disc or whatever we end up calling it is GORGEOUS!

If you know me personally then you know how excited I am for this. For the rest of you... OMGAHIWANTONEOFTHESERIGHTNOW!!! I bet aliens are eventually going to see this and say "Damn, they put chrome on EVERYTHING!" and then flip their hair... or whatever they have that's flippable. (Read: tentacles, antennas, extra arms, whatever.)

When you need to connect the complicated dots in your life and stay organized... yeah, I'm not sure where I was going with that BUT(!) isn't this planner just the coolest?

Designer, Julie Joliat created these super simple little planners, each page being paired with a popular/famous work from a popular/famous artist in true connect the dot fashion. And who doesn't love connect-the-dots?! I'm sold.

DJ Craze tests out the new Traktor Scratch Pro 2

Back when your, now trusty, AVM blogger was a club kid tearing up the drum and bass scene in Miami - I got to hang out with Craze before the doors opened to a party he was spinning. Cool dude for sure, very humble considering at the time he was included in a very short list of DJs who'd won a DMC championship 2 times in a row. Being at every single party thrown back then had it's perks.

Craze stands at about 5 foot nothing but he's got a DMC world champion title for every foot he is tall. He is turntable royalty which is definitely shown in the video above. Enjoy.

Do you know how much I love space stuff? Can you guess? I'll give you a hint... I spent 2 hours on Saturday afternoon zooming around our Solar System, visiting far off worlds and fast forwarding time to see where the planets would be for my next 5 birthdays. USB Cassette to MP3s Converter Thing!

History has been filled with 'gap-bridging' products that try and connect outdated technology with its replacement one. There was the combination VHS/DVD player and the 'two way' which came in an awkward time right after beepers but before texting on cell phones and even netbooks. I'm really. You look left, there's a laptop. You look right, a tablet. Is anyone really going to buy a netbook anymore? How long did that last? Like 2 and a half months I think. Haha.

The USB cassette player, which can convert your old tapes to mp3, takes a very big leap but a necessary one. Converting your CD collection, however time consuming, was totally doable but what about all those tapes?! Gone forever? Not anymore. The website is in Japanese but if you can somehow navigate it, the gadget is only about 30 bucks. It's actually not a bad looking walkman... if you're into that sort of thing. ;)

Summer 2011 will see these three Diet Coke bottle designs by Karl Lagerfeld roll out into stores everywhere this June.
