The makers of the Hipstamatic iphone camera app have addressed some user grievances and are offering a brand new app to resolve the issue. The snag was hit when Hipstamatic users wrote in wondering why they couldn't give their old photos the same retro, fuzzy, "cool story, bro" treatment. In comes SwankoLab, an iphone photo app that allows you to take any photo you have stored in your phone and re-process it in a real looking photo darkroom. Their website has screencaps, UI animations, and specs. What I love the most is the art and design that went into these 2 apps. It could have just been something boring that just adds effects to your photos but they've been really good at making it an experience. Good job.
